Two primers, and between them they solve the two things that go wrong with makeup: it slides off, or it doesn't sit right in the first place.

Which one you need

The waterproof primer is about longevity. It grips foundation through heat, sweat and a long day. Buy it if your makeup looks perfect at eight in the morning and gone by three.

The colour-correcting primer is about what's underneath. Green neutralises redness, purple lifts dullness, peach cancels blue-toned dark circles. Buy it if you find yourself layering more and more concealer and still not getting there.

They work together — correct first, then prime, then foundation.

The one rule for both

Wait a full minute after applying before you put foundation on. Almost every complaint about primer pilling comes from applying makeup onto primer that hasn't set. It feels like a long minute. It isn't.

And use less than you think

A pea-sized amount covers a whole face. More primer doesn't mean longer wear — it creates a slippery layer that makes foundation move around, which is precisely the problem you were trying to solve.
