Collection: Cleansing Tools
Your hands are perfectly adequate at cleansing. They're just not very good at it — they skip the hairline, they miss the sides of the nose, and they don't get into pores. A cleansing tool costs less than two bottles of serum and makes everything you apply afterwards work better.
Which one you need
Sonic silicone brush — the proper daily option. Fully waterproof so it lives in the shower, non-porous so it doesn't grow bacteria like old nylon brush heads, and no replacement heads to buy. If you only want cleansing done well, this is the one.
5-in-1 electric brush — cleansing plus exfoliation, extraction and massage heads. The cheapest way to find out whether you're a device person before spending more.
Hot and cold compress cloth — no batteries at all. Warm to soften and open pores before cleansing, cold to calm and de-puff afterwards. Genuinely useful and easy to underestimate.
Getting it right

Cleanser on the brush, not your face. You'll use less and it distributes better

Sixty seconds is plenty. Longer isn't cleaner, it's just more friction

Gel or foam, not oil. Balms and oils dampen the vibration. Double cleansing? Balm by hand first, brush for the second step

Evenings only, and once a day. Twice a day is where irritation starts

Rinse and stand it up to dry. A tool left damp face-down defeats the point
If your skin is sensitive
Start every other day for the first two weeks. Sonic cleansing is gentle, but it's still more stimulation than your skin is used to, and going straight in daily is the usual reason people conclude that devices "don't suit them". If you have active acne, rosacea or facial eczema, check with a pharmacist before adding any cleansing device to your routine.
