Collection: Serums & Treatments

Serums are where most of the actual work in a skincare routine happens — and where most of the money gets wasted, because people buy four of them and layer them badly. You need one or two that address what your skin is actually doing.

Choosing by concern

Dehydrated, tight, looks tired — snail mucin. It's the most forgiving hydrator we stock, layers under anything, and works with every other active. Start here if you're not sure.

Dark spots, post-blemish marks, uneven tone — vitamin C, in the morning. Ours pairs it with hyaluronic acid so it hydrates rather than strips, which is the usual complaint about vitamin C.

Firmness and fine lines — copper peptides. Slower and quieter than retinol, and far less likely to leave you peeling.

Redness and irritation — hypochlorous acid mist and the CICA cream. If your skin is currently reacting, treat it before adding anything active. Putting vitamin C on an angry face makes it angrier.

How to layer them properly

  1. Damp skin. Serums work considerably better on skin that's still slightly wet from cleansing
  2. Thinnest to thickest. Watery essences, then serums, then cream
  3. Thirty seconds between layers. This is the entire secret to products not pilling
  4. Vitamin C in the morning, peptides or retinol at night. Don't stack all your actives into one routine
  5. Sunscreen every morning. Without it, half of what a brightening serum does gets undone by lunchtime

A realistic timeline

Hydration you'll notice tomorrow. Tone and dark spots take six to eight weeks of daily use. Firmness takes three months. Any serum promising faster than that is selling you the promise, not the result — and we'd rather you bought one that works than four that disappoint.
