Twenty individually wrapped sterile wipes for cleaning the eyelids and lash line — the bit of your face that every other product on this site deliberately avoids.

Lid hygiene is unglamorous and genuinely useful. If your eyes feel gritty by the afternoon, if your lids get crusty overnight, if you wear contact lenses or heavy eye makeup, a daily wipe along the lash line makes a real difference to how comfortable your eyes feel.

How to use them

1. Tear open one sachet and unfold the wipe
2. Close your eye. Wipe gently along the lash line, from inner corner outwards
3. Use a fresh wipe for the second eye — never the same one
4. No rinsing. Let it dry naturally
5. Once or twice daily, or as directed by your optometrist

Who finds these useful

• Contact lens wearers, particularly at the end of a long day
• Anyone whose lids feel gritty, itchy or sticky
• Heavy eye makeup wearers — as a final step after removal
• Anyone whose optometrist has recommended a daily lid hygiene routine

Please note

These are for cleansing the external eyelid only. Don't use them inside the eye, don't reuse a wipe, and stop if your eyes sting or become more irritated.

Persistent redness, swelling, discharge, crusting or any change in your vision needs an optometrist or your GP, not a wipe. If you've been given a lid hygiene routine by a professional, follow theirs rather than ours.

Questions we get asked

Can I use them to remove eye makeup? They'll take off residue, but they aren't designed as a makeup remover. Use your usual remover first, then these to finish.

Are they safe with contact lenses? Use them with lenses out, then insert afterwards.

Why individually wrapped? Sterility. A tub of wipes stops being sterile the moment you open it, which matters far more near your eyes than anywhere else.

Can I use one on both eyes? Please don't. If one eye has anything going on, you'd transfer it straight to the other.
