LED light therapy went from salon-only to something you can do on your sofa, and this is the rigid-shell version — it holds its shape, sits away from the skin, and covers the whole face at once. Seven colour modes, twenty minutes, hands completely free.

It isn't a miracle and we're not going to pretend otherwise. It's a consistency device. Used three or four times a week for a couple of months, most people see a difference in skin tone and texture. Used twice and abandoned in a drawer, it does nothing.

What the colours are for

  • Red — the one most people buy it for, used for the appearance of fine lines and overall firmness
  • Blue — commonly used on blemish-prone skin
  • Yellow — often chosen for the look of redness and uneven tone
  • Green — used for the appearance of pigmentation and dark spots
  • Purple, cyan and white — combination modes blending the above

How to use it

  1. Cleanse and dry your face. Bare skin only — no serums or creams underneath, they block the light
  2. Choose your mode and put the mask on
  3. Fifteen to twenty minutes. Keep your eyes closed throughout
  4. Take it off, then do your normal routine — skin is receptive afterwards

Three or four sessions a week. More often isn't better.

Please read before buying

Don't use this if you have a condition that makes you sensitive to light, or if you're taking anything photosensitising — that includes some antibiotics, isotretinoin, and St John's wort. If you have epilepsy or are affected by flashing light, don't use it. If you're pregnant, or being treated for any skin condition, check with your GP or dermatologist first. Always keep your eyes shut during a session.

Choosing your variant

UK customers should select a UK option so the plug fits without an adapter. The EU, US and AU variants exist for our overseas orders.

Questions we get asked

How does this differ from the flexible silicone mask you sell? This one is rigid, so it doesn't touch your face — cooler and more hygienic, but less comfortable lying down. The silicone version moulds to your features and is better if you want to wear it in bed.

Can I wear it with makeup on? No. Light needs clean skin to reach it.

Does it hurt? No. It's bright, and warm at most.

How long until I see something? Six to eight weeks of consistent use for tone and texture. Nothing visible in week one.
